 Mark Stipplemans lost his 2-and-a-half-year battle with cancer; passing away on 17 March 2018

From his Daughter’s Facebook post:

“It is with incredible sadness and a heavy heart that I have to say that my dad passed away this morning peacefully at home. He fought a long hard battle with cancer and is no longer in pain and suffering…his viewing will be held at Bohn-Matich funeral home in Ambridge, PA on Monday March 19th from 4-730pm with a short service to follow from 730-8pm. All are welcome to join us for the service to share in your best memories of our dad https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/f68/1/16/1f495.png💕 In lieu of flowers, dad requested donations to be made to Hillman Cancer Center where his doctors helped him fight this 2.5 year battle. Mark D. Stippelmans, 58, formerly of Ambridge, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at home. Born January 23, 1960, in Sewickley, he was a son of Herman and Raymonde Pirard Stippelmans, Moon Township. He was the former owner of Herman’s Bakery, Ambridge. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jessica and Adam Yunk, North Hills, and Krista Stippelmans, Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diana and Gary Monahan, Center Twp., and Liesa and Jeff Besong, Fair Oaks; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7:30 p.m. in BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hillman Cancer Center.
